A Permanent Program Committee and an Annual Program Committee shall be Standing Committees reporting to the Programs and Meetings Council. These Committees shall oversee the planning and evaluation of scientific and educational meetings. The Continuing Medical Education Officer and Assistant Continuing Medical Educational Officer shall be ex-officio members of both these Councils. The President-Elect shall be Chair of the Annual Program Committee. Other members of the Society shall be appointed to these committees by the Chair of the Programs and Meetings Council subject to approval of the Executive Committee.
